RFK Jr. Forces Out Top USA Vaccine Regulator

Dr. Peter Marks, the top vaccine regulator in the USA, was forced to resign by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

If he did not resign, Kennedy promised to fire him, with significant adverse impact on his career and earned benefits likely.

Marks directed the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research within the Food and Drug Administration. He was best known for his role in Operation Warp Speed to rapidly develop vaccines against COVID-19. In his resignation letter, Marks wrote, “It has become clear that truth and transparency are not desired by the secretary, but rather he wishes subservient confirmation of his misinformation and lies.”

The Department issued a statement denigrating Marks. Kennedy is prominently anti-vaccine, although his own children are vaccinated. Kennedy has already disbanded or postponed key vaccine-related group meetings, stopped vaccine research and appointed a critic of vaccines with little pertinent background to lead a study aiming to support a long-debunked link between vaccines and autism.
