Quakers Sue to Stop ICE Arrests in Places of Worship

A group of five Quaker congregations sued DHS and its newly appointed Secretary challenging as violation of their freedom to practice their religion the federal government’s new policy allowing raids at places of worship.

Quakers, formally known as the Religious Society of Friends, are apparently the first religious group to challenge the government’s declaration that houses of worship are not places of sanctuary.
