OPM Fires 388 Environmental Protection Agency Employees

The Office of Personnel Management ordered 388 probationary employees fired from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Those probationary employees had been in their jobs less than a year, so they did not have complete civil service employment protections. They were about 3% of the workforce. Some were reportedly working on consequences of the Los Angeles wildfires.
