Meta Will Pay $25 Million Settlement for Suspending DJT Facebook Account after Jan. 6 Attack

Meta will pay $25 million to Donald Trump to settle a lawsuit brought by him for suspension of his Facebook account after the 6 January 2021 attack on the national Capitol.

Meta also donated $1 million to his 2025 inauguration fund.

Meta is the parent company of Facebook, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp.
