Lawsuit Filed Against Federal Funding Cuts at Harvard

| 0

The American Association of University Professors filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump’s regime, challenging its cutoff of federal funds to Harvard University in the regime’s quest to force capitulation.

The lawsuit asserts that the government did not follow steps required under Title VI before it could legally begin to stop agreed federal funds. The government also did not provide required notice of funding freezes to Harvard and Congress.

The complaint includes “These sweeping yet indeterminate demands are not remedies targeting the causes of any determination of noncompliance with federal law. Instead, they overtly seek to impose on Harvard University political views and policy preferences advanced by the Trump administration and commit the University to punishing disfavored speech.”
