LA Dodgers Deny Permission for Federal Agents to Enter Stadium Parking Lot

The Los Angeles Dodgers baseball team denied entry to federal agents who requested access to Dodger Stadium parking lots.

Some reports said the agents were from Immigration and Customs Enforcement. ICE said the agents were not theirs. They turned out to be Customs and Border Protection. Masked agents in Border Patrol vests were outside the stadium by a road that goes to Gate E.

Protesters gathered in the vicinity when ICE operations hit outside Home Depot stores and other locations in the Los Angeles area.

The Dodgers were due to host the San Diego Padres that night. The Dodgers issued a statement about what had happened and said the game would go ahead as planned.
