KKK Flyers to Intimidate Immigrants Distributed in Chattanooga

KKK flyers were distributed in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They were headlined in large letters LEAVE NOW SELF-DEPORT AVOID DETENTION.

Next to the headline was a cartoon of a smiling man in an Uncle Sam outfit, smoking a pipe, standing with one foot up on top of a birdcage containing a woman wearing a headscarf, a child, a man holding an infant and one suitcase.

The flyer went on to say AMERICANS ON GUARD. Help us PROTECT our HOMELAND. Trinity White Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. The flyer included their post office box address and multiple telephone numbers for KKK local chapters.
