Hegseth Terminates Gender Affirming Hormones for Transgender Military

Secretary of Defense Peter Hegseth issued an order terminating gender affirming hormone therapy and further medical procedures for transgender members of military services.

He went on to say such service members “will be treated with dignity and respect.”

Members of the military cannot quit the service to avoid discontinuation of their medical care.
