Hegseth Fires General James Slife, #2 Officer of Air Force

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth fired General James Slife, the number two ranking officer in charge of the Air Force.

No explanation was given, although this seems to be part of a wave of firings of military officers under the guise of eliminating diversity, equity and inclusion to make way for replacements whose primary loyalty will be to Donald Trump.
