Funeral of Former President Jimmy Carter

The public funeral service for former USA President Jimmy Carter was held at Washington National Cathedral.

Carter died 29 December 2024 at the age of 100, the longest-lived of all American Presidents. The general tenor of the service was honor for his exemplary character and extraordinary life of service extending throughout his post-Presidential years.

The service was attended by family members, friends, all five living Presidents and former Presidents (and most of their wives), former Vice President Mike Pense and his wife, and other political leaders.
