FDA Deputy Commissioner for Human Foods James (Jim) Jones resigned, saying the widespread firings of workers by Elon Musk’s DOGE for Donald Trump’s regime would render his role “fruitless.”
His resignation letter specifically cited 89 job terminations in the Human Foods Program.
