Eutelsat is Ready to Replace Musk’s Starlink in Ukraine

French satellite company Eutelsat confirms it is negotiating with the EU to deploy 40,000 of its terminals to Ukraine to replace dependency on Elon Musk’s Starlink satellites.

Eutelsat has less than 10% as many satellites as Starlink, but they are in higher orbits. Latency (signal lag) is longer and connection speed lower, but stability is greater.
