Entire Extremist Livingston LA Library Board Fired

The Parish Council of Livingston, Louisiana, fired the entire Livingston Library board after conservative extremist book bans and budget cuts by the board.

To reconstitute the board, each Council member nominated a new member. All nominees were accepted by the Council except for Districts 5 and 9.
