Elon Musk’s DOGE Website Modifiable by Anyone

Elon Musk’s DOGE website is so insecure, anyone can modify its database.

The Department of Government Efficiency is not a government department. It was created as a subset of a White House IT team. Its “government” website is hosted on Cloudflare, not government servers. It is so insecure, anyone who finds it can modify its database. As a result, none of the data shown to the public can be trusted for correctness or legitimacy. Some entries into the database troll DOGE for this incompetence instead of changing figures.

The new waste.gov website was thrown together even more hastily, showing a dummy WordPress page with placeholder text.
