DOJ Corrects 2 Errors in Defense of Dismantling USAID

The Department of Justice filed corrections to two significant errors it made last week in its response to a lawsuit that seeks to block the destruction of USAID.

Last week DOJ said:

Only 500 USAID employees had been placed on administrative leave, rather than the actual 2,140.
Only future contracts were stopped, when in truth existing contracts were stopped too.

The case is civil action 1:25-cv-00352-CJN, American Foreign Service Association et al. versus President Donald Trump et al.
