DOJ Corrects 2 Errors in Defense of Dismantling USAID

| 0

The Department of Justice filed corrections to two significant errors it made last week in its response to a lawsuit that seeks to block the destruction of USAID.

Last week DOJ said:

  • Only 500 USAID employees had been placed on administrative leave, rather than the actual 2,140.
  • Only future contracts were stopped, when in truth existing contracts were stopped too.

The case is civil action 1:25-cv-00352-CJN, American Foreign Service Association et al. versus President Donald Trump et al.
