DJT Withdraws USA from UN Human Rights Council and Cuts UNRWA Funding
Donald Trump signed an executive order withdrawing the USA from the United Nations Human Rights Council and cutting USA funding for UN Relief and Works Agency.
He also did this during his first term.
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency, for which he cut funding, is the main humanitarian relief organization that supports Palestinians in Gaza.
During the height of war between Israel and Hamas, Israel said some staffers from UNRWA had ties to Hamas. Investigation found no evidence to support the claim.
