DJT Sanctions International Criminal Court
Donald Trump signed an executive order to sanction against people and their families who aid the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Trump claims the ICC has committed “illegitimate and baseless actions targeting America and our close ally Israel.” He has criticized the court ever since it issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant in late 2024.
The EO corresponds with a visit by Netanyahu to Trump.
