DJT Launches His Own Meme Coin Cryptocurrency

In the countdown to his inauguration as President, Donald Trump launched his own “meme coin” cryptocurrency $Trump. By mid-afternoon, market valuation was estimated at $5.5 billion.

Meme coins are highly volatile and have no intrinsic value. They are typically used to build popularity for a viral trend or movement on the internet.

Eighty percent (80%) of the tokens are owned by CIC Digital LLC (a Trump organization affliate) and Fight Fight Fight LLC, a company formed earlier this month. Twenty-five percent (25%) were released. The remaining tokens are to be released over the next three years.
