DJT Fires Head of Office of Government Ethics
Donald Trump abruptly fired David Huitema, head of the Office of Government Ethics, shortly after the start of Huitema’s five year appointment.
Within the executive branch’s upper levels, OGE oversees financial disclosures and ethics rules, collects ethics forms, and strives to prevent or at least notice conflicts of interest.
