DJT Ends All Humanitarian Parole Programs

Donald Trump signed an executive order ending all humanitarian parole programs that allow immigrants, typically refugees, from certain countries to remain in the USA even though their immigration status is not yet regularized.

People affected came from a handful of countries including Nicaragua, Cuba, Haiti and Venezuela.

DJT’s “border czar” Tom Homan said Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will focus on arresting migrants considered a public safety threat, but can also round up immigrants with no criminal record, especially if they live in sanctuary jurisdictions (cities that prohibit local law enforcement from assisting federal immigration officials).
