DJT Draft Budget Ends Funding for Narcan

Donald Trump’s preliminary budget would end a grant of $56 million per year that provides Narcan (naloxone) to first responders nationwide and trains them to use it.

Narcan is a nasal spray used as a fast-acting rescue treatment for opioid overdose. It has been a wonder drug, saving countless lives. Ending the Narcan program is part of deep slashing of addition prevention and treatment programs.
