DJT Bars AP from Events over Style Guide Regarding Gulf of Mexico

The White House barred Associated Press reporters from two events in an attempt to force a change to the service’s style guide regarding the Gulf of Mexico, which Donald Trump declares is the Gulf of America.

AP has chosen to continue calling that body of water the Gulf of Mexico but note Trump’s decision to rename it. The AP Stylebook is widely used by journalists worldwide.
