DJT Appears to Pause Plans to Send More Immigrants to Guantanamo Bay

Donald Trump’s regime appears to have paused intentions send at least 9000 more undocumented immigrants, including about 800 from allied European countries, to Guantanamo Bay.

Escalated transfers were supposed to start this week. The delay is supposedly partly because protests against immigration crackdowns in Los Angeles interfered. It is unclear how long the delay might last. Some officials in the State Department have been urging the Department of Homeland Security to cancel the plan.
