DHS Employee Disciplined for Accidentally Adding Reporter to Email About ICE Operation
The Department of Homeland Security put an employee on administrative leave and intends to revoke her security clearance after she inadvertently added a reporter to a group email about an Immigration and Customs Enforcement operation.
The incident happened in January and has just come to light due to its contrast with the lack of consequences for 17 high level government officials who recently added a journalist to a group chat in Signal where they discussed highly sensitive war plans for an upcoming strike in Yemen.
