Democratic Former NJ Senator Sentenced for Bribery & Corruption Conviction

Former Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), convicted on bribery and corruption charges in July 2024, was sentenced to 11 years in prison.

Menendez denies the charges but a jury found him guilty.

His wife Nadine is due for trial in March 2025 on charges of participating in his schemes. Her trial was delayed to allow her to be treated for breast cancer. She is pleading not guilty.
