Cybertruck Explodes Outside Trump Hotel in Las Vegas

A Tesla cybertruck exploded in Las Vegas outside the entrance of Trump International Hotel. One person inside the vehicle died and seven people nearby were injured.

The incident was initially investigated as a possible terrorist attack only a few hours after a truck flying an ISIS flag drove into revelers in New Orleans.

The deceased driver of the rented truck was Matthew Livelsberger, 37, a Green Beret from Colorado Springs, who had five Bronze Star awards. He shot himself in the head before the camp fuel canisters and fireworks he had put in the truck exploded.

Authorities released only portions of the suicide note he left, including this:

“”This was not a terrorist attack, it was a wakeup call. Americans only pay attention to spectacles and violence. What better way to get my point across than a stunt with fireworks and explosives.”
