Chief of Staff for Hegseth Switching to Another Role
Joe Kasper, Chief of Staff for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, will leave that role soon to take a different position in the Department of Defense.
Last month Kasper asked for an investigation into leaks from the Pentagon. Earlier in the week, this led to putting his Deputy Chief of Staff Darin Selnick and a senior advisor to Hegseth, Dan Caldwell, on administrative leave. They were terminated today.
Hegseth is inexperienced and will be without three of his topmost staffers.
