Census Director Announces Mid-Term Resignation

Robert Santos, Director of the Census Bureau, announced he is resigning midway through his five year term, making an easy path for Donald Trump to have the 2030 done as he wants.

Among goals openly expressed so far is ignoring the 14th Amendment’s declaration that “the whole number of persons in each state” should be counted and applied to apportionment of Congressional districts. The Republican party wants apportionment to be based only on the number of citizens in each state.
