Arizona Judge Dismisses Lawsuit Against Election Procedures

| 0

A judge dismissed a lawsuit against election procedures in Yavapai county in Arizona.

The lawsuit was filed by a right wing group founded by Stephen Miller in February 2024. It alleged that Yavapai, Coconino and Maricopa counties had seriously flawed election procedures involving signature verification, unstaffed drop boxes, ballot curing and voter registration cancellations.

The judge ruled plaintiffs lacked standing because they could not show they were harmed by the procedures, and dismissed the suit with prejudice which means it cannot be refiled.
