AP Barred from White House and Air Force 1

All AP reporters are barred from the White House and Air Force 1, escalating pressure on the Associated Press to change its international style guide to reflect Donald Trump’s renaming of the Gulf of Mexico.

AP’s space at Presidential events is to be given to other media. AP has been a regular component of the White House press pool for decades. Its style guide is used internationally. The guide notes Trump’s authority is limited to the USA and other countries do not have to use the new name Gulf of American that he declared.
