19 State Attorneys General Pressure Costco to Abandon DEI Policies
Attorneys General for 19 states sent a joint letter to the President of Costco demanding that within 30 days the company must either abandon its DEI practices or explain why it “failed” to do so.
The letter called Costco’s DEI policies ” unlawful discrimination.” Its tone was threatening but it did not specify what action the attorneys general will take if Costco keeps the DEI program that 98% of its shareholders voted to continue.
