UK Employment Rights Changes Have Begun

UK’s Employment Rights Act of 2025 became law 18 December. Most of it is phased in over the next two years. It is a major step forward for workers—and shows the UK is not inexorably committed to the USA’s pathway. Oligarchy & authoritarianism are not inevitable.
