UK Turn Off Hidden Phones NOW

If you are in the UK and have a hidden, secret phone, don’t wait to turn it off on 7 September before the emergency alert system test at 15:00. Turn it off NOW. They’re sending out text messages advising that the test will happen. It is not clear whether settings to keep notifications silent are honored or overridden by these messages. To stay on the safe side, turn off the hidden phone until after the 7 Sept test is over.
