For many people Thanksgiving is awkward this year. Awkward because there are too often passionate rifts between the way family members and friends believe people should be treated. Awkward because anyone can see a rough road is coming and no one can say how hard it will get. Awkward because words are inadequate for these times.
If you are about to celebrate Thanksgiving, I hope it will be with people whose values are similar to yours. If it isn’t, I hope you can sneak away to visit people who are more compatible.
