White House Names Amy Gleason as DOGE Administrator, Deflecting from Musk

Despite several statements by Donald Trump and Elon Musk indicating Musk leads DOGE, they began to say otherwise as DOGE got into increasing trouble with courts, and now say Amy Gleason leads DOGE.

The Department of Government Efficiency is a subset of a White House IT team, not a government department, and is Elon Musk’s brainchild.

Amy Gleason, from Nashville, TN, was on vacation in Mexico when she was announced as the DOG Administrator. It is unclear whether had advance knowledge of the announcement or when she may have stepped up to take responsibility for the actions of Musk’s team.
