Two days after removing materials about the Tuskegee Airmen and the Women Airforce Service Pilots from training for new recruits, the U.S. Air Force reinstated them in response to outcry.

VIdeo about the two history-making groups of pilots was removed after Donald Trump signed an executive order to end federal diversity, equity and inclusion programs.

Reinstatement followed not only widespread public criticism, but also a complaint on social media by USA Senator Katie Boyd Britt (R-AL). The Tuskegee Airmen, who were precedent-settingi African American combat pilots, were based in her state.

WASPs were women delivered military aircraft and cargo as well as trained male pilot cadets during World War II.
