USA Stock Markets Dive Again

USA stock markets took another dive, worried about consequences of Donald Trump’s trade war.

For the day:

  • Dow Jones Industrial Average down 715.80 points (1.7%) to 41,583.90
  • S&P 500 down 112.37 points (2%) to 5,580.94
  • Nasdaq composite down 481.04 points (2.7%) to 17,322.99
  • Russell 2000 index of smaller companies down 42.42 points (2.1%) to 2,023.27

For the week:

  • Dow Jones Industrial Average down 401.45 points (1%)
  • S&P 500 down 86.62 points (1.5%)
  • Nasdaq composite down 461.06 points (2.6%)
  • Russell 2000 index of smaller companies down 33.71 points (1.6%)

For the year:

  • Dow Jones Industrial Average down 960.32 points (2.3%)
  • S&P 500 down 300.69 points (5.1%)
  • Nasdaq composite down 1987.80 points (10.3%)
  • Russell 2000 index of smaller companies down 206.88 points (9.3%)
