University of Maine Federal Funding from USDA Suspended

After Maine Governor Janet Mills did not back down on her state’s policies allowing transgender athletes to compete, Donald Trump ordered multiple investigations and has now suspended federal funding for University of Maine.

To achieve this, Trump got the Departments of Education, Health and Human Services, and Agriculture involved. USDA paused funding for the University of Maine for alleged Title IX violations,
