Rise Up: Federal Workers Legal Defense Network is Announced

Rise Up: Federal Workers Legal Defense Network was announced, offering pro bono (free of lawyer’s fees) legal assistance to current and former federal workers who need it.

More than 1000 lawyers have taken special training to participate in this network, which so far has attorneys in 42 states. The coalition providing this network is led by Democracy Forward, AFL-CIO and We The Action. It is supported by multiple federal labor unions and organizations such as the Partnership for Public Service which promote good government.

This system is designed to help federal workers cope with not only what Donald Trump and Elon Musk have done to them so far, but anticipated escalation.
