New DOJ Policies Invite Corruptions and Foreign Influence

| 0

Newly appointed Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a Department of Justice policy memo sweeping away several barriers against corruption and foreign meddling in the USA.

Key changes include:

Disbanded the Foreign Influence Task Force.

Limited charges that can be brought under the Foreign Agents Registration Act to espionage only, reducing to a civil matter use of money to influence the country.

Slashed enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, opening the door for corporate bribery.

Disbanded the “Kleptocracy” Task Force, which enforced sanctions against other countries.
