Nearly 1300 (10% of Workforce) Fired from CDC

Donald Trump’s regime notified Centers for Disease Control that its 1300 probationary employees, 10% of its workforce, are all to be fired.

At CDC, probationary workers are not only those who have been with the agency less than two years, but also those that received a promotion recently. About 60% of CDC’s workers hold advanced academic degrees.

CDC’s primary mission is to protect Americans against outbreaks and public health threats, some of which involves about 2000 staff based in other countries where such threats could arise.
