Nadine Menendez Found Guilty in Same Bribery Scheme as Husband
Nadine Menendez, wife of disgraced former Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ), was found guilty by a jury on all 15 counts of bribery, obstruction of justice, wire fraud and conspiring to put her husband in a position as a foreign agent.
Several of the charges carry prison terms of up to 20 years.
Prosecutors said she was central to the scheme to apply her husband’s political influence in return for cash, jewelry, gold bars and a Mercedes-Benz convertible from three New Jersey businesses and officials from Egypt and Qatar.
She is due to be sentenced 12 June 2025, the same month her husband is due to begin serving his 11 year sentence in prison.
