Kyle Diamantas Appointed as New FDA Head of Food Security
Kyle Diamantas was appointed to replace Jim Jones, becoming Acting Deputy Commissioner of the Human Foods Program at the Food and Drug Administration.
Diamantas is a Florida attorney and hunting buddy of Donald Trump Jr., son of President Donald Trump. His new role is responsible for all FDA nutrition and food safety activities. He has no professional qualifications or experience regarding food safety.
