Judge Rejects DJT Request to Lift His Order Against Deportations Via Alien Enemies Act

| 0

Federal District Court Judge James Boasberg denied a request from Donald Trump’s regime to lift the temporary restraining order he issued against using the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelans to prison in El Salvador.

Even if the law from 1798 is valid despite Constitutional concerns that many have against it, Boasberg wrote, “Summary deportation following close on the heels of the Government’s informing an alien that he is subject to the Proclamation — without giving him the opportunity to consider whether to voluntarily self-deport or challenge the basis for the order — is unlawful.”

Boasberg is intent upon finding out whether the regime intentionally violated his order with the deportation flights it failed to turn around and one that it initated after he issued his TRO. The judge has also noted a treaty which deportation to the notorious CECOT prison in El Salvador may have violated. The 1990 Convention Against Torture can be regarded as prohibiting the USA from sending people to CECOT without allowing them to appeal on the grounds that they could face torture there.
