Judge Blocks DJT from Withholding Federal Funds for Sanctuary Jurisdictions

Federal District Court Judge William Orrick issued an injunction against Donald Trump, barring him from withholding, freezing or setting conditions on federal funds for “sanctuary” jurisdictions that do not cooperate with federal immigration agents.

Orrick said at least portions of the Trump executive orders leading to such actions are unconstitutional. The Trump regime is prohibited “from directly or indirectly taking any action to withhold, freeze, or condition federal funds.” By Monday all federal departments and agencies must be notified of the court order in writing.
