Judge Bars DJT Regime from Shutting Down U.S. African Development Foundation

Federal District Court Judge Richard J. Leon issued a temporary restraining order to bar Elon Musk’s DOGE from shutting down, removing the CEO of or adding board members to the U.S. African Development Foundation for a few days while Leon considers a lawsuit.

Ward Brehm, President and CEO of USADF, filed the lawsuit after refusing entry to Musk’s “Department” of Government Efficiency, a subset of a White House IT team rather than a department. Brehm’s suit asserted that the executive branch does not have authority to terminate an agency created by Congress.
