Joint Letter to DJT by 21 Congressional Democrats Condemns IG Firings

Twenty-one Democrats from House committees, especially Ranking Members, sent a joint letter to Donald Trump condemning his Friday night firing of 17 independent Inspectors General as illegal.

The Congressional Representatives signing the letter cited the same federal law that was cited by IG Hannibal “Mike” Ware in his response to the White House, stating that the firings were done illegally and are invalid.
