Israel Cuts Off Electricity Supply to Gaza

Having cut off aid into Gaza a week earlier, Israel cut off electricity too. The initial phase of the truce ended 1 March but Israel wants to extend it while demanding release of all remaining hostages before proceeding into the second phase.

The main desalination plant cannot operate now that the main power line is cut off.
