Federal Government Considers Destroying $500 million of Usable COVID Test Kits

Donald Trump’s regime is considering ending the program that sends free COVID test kits to households. Most of the $500 million stockpile of tests are still valid. They were paid for with taxpayer funds.

Shutdown of the website for requesting test was announced for 18 February 2025 at 20:00 EST. Twelve minutes before then, it was announced that COVIDtests.gov would not close yet after all.
