DJT Rages After Colombia Turns Away Repatriation Flights
After Colombia denied permission to land for two repatriation flights from the USA, Donald Trump responded with a torrent of threats through social media.
In his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said the USA will impose financial sanctions, levy 25 percent tariffs on Colombia for “all goods” going to the USA, and then raise the tariffs to 50% in a week.
He also promised to ban entry by and revoke visas for Colombian government officials, as well as “all allies and supporters.”
He further promised “visa sanctions” against “all Party Members, Family Members, and Supporters of the Colombian Government.”
He announced “Enhanced Customs and Border Protection Inspections of all Colombian Nationals and Cargo on national security grounds.”
He shut down the visa section of the USA’s Embassy in Bogota.
